Players banned

ARDMORE'S Gerard Brolly has been suspended for the remainder of the cricket season, following a North West Disciplinary Meeting, on Thursday night.

Brolly's team-mate Adrian Murphy has also received a one match ban, while Burndennett duo Stephen Williamson (2) and Lee Pollock (1) are also banned following an incident between the two sides in their Billy Henderson Properties Ltd Senior Two match last month.

In that game at Burndennett, the umpires had to abandoned that encounter after players from both sides got involved in arguments.

All players have the right to appeal, but the suspensions take effect immediately and the players can't play until any appeal is heard.
