Plenty of action in Iris Walsh Memorial

Berthas Bar in Castlerock was the place to be on Friday night for local darts enthusiasts for the opening of the first Iris Walsh Memorial Individuals.

There was a host of top darts thrown on the night from a number of the Leagues top throwers including hot favourite Paul Brown who came through a tight game against Philip Moffitt to go into the last 32 this coming Friday. However it will be a lot tougher for Paul than many think with some quality players joining him there including Gerald Dallas, Barry McLaughlin, Danny O’Neill and former NI Individuals Champion Damian Norton.

There are also a number of the best up and coming young players in the mix including Scott Craig, Steven Campbell, Alan McVicker, Mervyn Greer and Padraig O’Reilly who will all be looking to step up and make a name for themselves.
