A MIXTURE of some woeful finishing and solid defending cost Bann maximum points in their last Premier League outing against Bangor.

Bann totally dominated possession and territory throughout as Bangor sat deep and patiencely waited to counter.

Chance after chance was squandered and it looked like defeat was on the cards when Michael Harte superbly gave the visitors a shock lead with 15 minutes left, but back came Bann and with seven minutes left Bruce McCandless equalised with probably his hardest opportunity of the night.

Bann still could have won it in the closing minutes but again failed with their finishing.
