Polley is a cracker!

ENGLISH ace Dave Polley beat a high-quality field to claim the F2 Stock Car Irish Open Championship at Ballymena Raceway on Friday evening.

Polley, from Manea in Cambridgeshire, qualified on pole position for the 25 lap title race and led the race from start to finish with last year’s winner, Chris Bradbury from Berkshire, forced to settle for second this time around.

Another man in dominant form was Lyle Murray.

The Ballymena driver qualified on pole position for the final of the Group Two Lightning Rods Global Oils Grand Prix Series and, like Polley, never put a wheel wrong to lead comfortably from start to finish.
