Pony club quality for national final
NORTH Derry Pony Club’s novice showjumping team have qualified for the UK Pony Club’s Novice Championships to be held in Cheshire this August.
Stephen Tyrrell, the Club’s District Commissioner said: “We are all extremely proud of the girls; they are very excited to have the opportunity to take their ponies to England to compete nationally. They have all practised very hard recently and the result is well deserved.”
The team qualified by finishing second at the NI Pony Club’s Area Showjumping Competition at The Meadows Equestrian Centre, in Lurgan, on Monday, July 9.
