It did not start well for the Moat with May Barr securing a 2-0 win over Daniel Magill. Michael Thompson levelled the match score for the Moat with a come from behind 2-1 win over David Jamieson, while Martin Hill also had to come from behind to beat Ross Hill 2-1.
