POOL: Saints storm past Tech Tornadoes

Saints took a massive step towards winning the Q Club Larne Pool League title after a 9-6 success over Tech Tornadoes.

Even though they went 5-2 down, they rallied to win 9-6, aided by a Gary Johnston hat-trick.

The result heaped the pressure on Thatch who, despite mounting their own comeback from 7-5 down, drew 8-8 with Ibrox. Stephen Johnston won the play-off frame to earn the visitors a well-deserved point.
