Preparations ongoing for Mid-Antrim ‘150’

In fact, nothing could be further from the truth and the club are working hard to promote their meeting, which takes place over the Clough circuit on the 2nd and 3rd August.

According to club spokesman Davy McCartney, the Mid Antrim club members will be at Ballymena Show on the 25th May to help raise awareness of the meeting. There will be a number of racing bikes on show and a few riders and club officials on hand to help promote the races.

Members are already working at the race programme and anyone interested in advertising in it can have a half page advert, in an A4 sized programme, for £60. Even better value, a full page will cost £100. Advertisers will have their advert placed on the new club website, which is now nearing completion, for a year. The club also are running a Sponsor a Bale for £5. Anyone interested in helping sponsor the People Race on race day can do so for £20, with businesses also able to get in on the act for £50. Another good option is a business who sponsors the race can have, for a further £50, a full page advert as well.

The club raffle, which is ongoing, will be drawn on the 4th June, and any tickets sellers are asked to return all tickets before that date.

Regs for the Mid Antrim 150 can be had from Derek McWhirter or Davy McCartney. They will also be able to be downloaded from the new website in the very near future.
