Provincial season ends

THE curtain came down on the Ballymena and Provincial Intermediate League playing season on Thursday evening as Newtownabbey FC beat Newtownabbey Sevens 1-0 in the final of the Presentation Trophies-sponsored Canada Trophy.

The League wish to thank Chimney Corner FC for the use of the excellent facilities at Allan Park for the four cup finals played there.

The next big event on the calendar is the league's annual dinner and prize presentation which will be held in the Michelin Athletic Club on Friday, June 11.

RACEVIEW FC will hold a six-a-side football tournament at Eaton Park, Raceview Road, on Saturday, July 3.
