The event has received a major boost with the announcement of a prestigious new registered competition, the Ulster Region 1.30m Grand Prix League, with a fantastic prize of £1000 very generously sponsored by Volvo Trucks UK.

In addition to the new Grand Prix competition there will also be 1.10m and 1m Leagues and the registered jumping will start with a 90cm competition.

The courses will be built by the Jess family team who employed their skills to great effect at the Olympics last summer.

The Amateurs will have their usual competitions kindly sponsored by Anthea Moffett and there will also be unaffiliated jumping for ponies and horses catering for all levels.

In addition to prizes there will be Silver cups and a Shield for the lucky winners to take home in the later unaffiliated competitions. The Show will start at 9am this year to accommodate the new classes.

The Working Hunter Competitions will start this year at the earlier time of 10am and will offer the usual competitions for horses and ponies, with the ponies jumping first.
