The 16 ladies who took part helped to raise a staggering £6,313.01 - all of which will help cancer patients and their families in Northern Ireland by supporting the work of Cancer Focus.

Rosie Forsythe, the charity’s Community Fund-raising Officer, said: “We rely almost entirely on the generosity of the general public to allow us to continue our life-enhancing work, so events like this are very much appreciated.”

Thanks are due to a number of people, including: CRH Design, Ballymena, for signage and cancer stickers; Brian Edgar and Colin Hamill, who sponsored trophies; Donna for printing and designing T-shirts; Laura Foster, Liscinda Smyth and Shane Gault, who helped organise the event; and not forgetting all the ladies who took part in the event and those who sponsored them.
