Two local drivers will be among seven Ballymena Raceway regulars aiming for stock rod world championship glory this weekend.

Adam Sloan, from Kells, will be making his maiden appearance at the demanding Racewall circuit at the Stock Rod World Championship at Cowdenbeath in Scotland.

The nineteen year made his Raceway debut at Easter and has enjoyed an extremely fruitful first season at his home circuit, chalking up a number of race wins including a first ever final victory during the recent Spedeweekend at the Showgrounds oval.
