Raceway action at Showgrounds tonight

RACING continues at the Ballymena Showgrounds on Friday evening (June 22) when the final round of the DK Series for the F2 Stock Cars takes place.

Antrim’s Chris Kincaid currently tops the series, with Craig McConnell and Randalstown’s William Murray also well in contention.

Irish Champion Graham Fegan, second in the recent Irish Open at Raceway, and Track Champion Conor Hughes could both feature heavily with everything still to play for entering the final round.

The Stock Rod drivers will continue their preparations for the Raceway staged World Championship on Friday evening. Victor McAfee took the honours on their last appearance, with Micky McFall, Chris Gordon and Carl Sloan also looking to get amongst the wins.

The mighty 2-Litre Saloon Stock Cars are back in action after their recent Irish Open event where Irish Champion Andrew Stewart was the top local finisher.

Group Two Lightning Rods and Junior Rods complete the busy schedule at the Mulholland Scrap Metals sponsored meeting, with the first race getting underway in The Showgrounds at 7:15pm.
