Raceway Easter events head for Nutts Corner

THE green flag drops to usher in a new season of Stock Car action over the Easter weekend with two championship events for the 1400cc Stock Rod formula headlining the fixtures.

Both championships were originally planned for Ballymena Raceway, but concerns raised by the council concerning the Showgrounds track have meant that both meetings have been switched to the circuit at Nutts Corner instead.

Craigywarren based Micky McFall defends his Yokohama title at the Greer’s of Antrim sponsored season opener on Good Friday, April 2, before the Kirkwood Coaches/HSS Hire Irish Open Championship is disputed on Easter Saturday, April 3.
