The Nutts Corner based driver lifted both the Yokohama and Irish Open titles over the Easter weekend, but will have to be at his best again with the likes of Micky McFall, Victor McAfee and British Champion Frankie Lynn from Cullybackey also on the grid.

The F2 Stock Cars are also in action on Friday evening. Antrim’s Chris Kincaid took the honours on Good Friday, but Irish Champion Craig McConnell and Banbridge based Gary Grattan are also expected to challenge strongly.

The programme also includes action from the Saloon Stock Car and Group Two Lightning Rod divisions, plus the Classic Hot Rod class. Ballymena’s Kenny Wilson made his debut in the Classics over Easter and marked the occasion with a heat victory.

The first race at the S McAfee & Son Car Sales sponsored meeting commences at 7:15pm.
