Rafters Legends rocket to league title

Rafters Home Snooker League finished on Thursday 3 May. The league consisted of six teams playing every Thursday night over the winter months.

Within Rafters Snooker Club also within the league were four other competitions: Doubles, K McGrath Cup, Charity Shield and Individuals.

Rafters Legends rose victorious on the last night after beating Hotshots. Legends won by five points with Rafters Rockets hot on their tail all season.

Rafters Legends consisted of eight players:

Ryan O Doherty, Billy Moore snr, Billy Moore jnr, Paddy McCook, Sean Gray, Mark Hegarty, Kevin Clark and Davy Drain.

Rafters committee and players congratulated Legends on their win.

The winner of the following competitions: Doubles - Alan McDonald and Paddy McCullough; K McGrath Cup - Rafters Rockets; Charity Shield - Rafters Legends.

The final for the Individuals was played last night (Mon 21/5) with Ryan O’Doherty and Paddy McCook contesting for the title.
