The junior and senior Nova Challenge championship has been dominated so far by young William Graham who on current form looks a certain contender for this winters championship. In the first round at Aghadowey the class three win was taken once again by Daniel Kelly and class 4 by previous multiple champion Jonny Armstrong. Class 5 was dominated by Draperstown’s Hugh Watson who after many previous close finishes, took the overall win at the Aghadowey round and local drivers David Christie and Jamie Grant will also be very impressive in their immaculately turned out Escorts.

The very popular Class 9 grown quickly and has now been divided to create three separate classes for the 600, 750 and 1000cc superbike engined race buggys which will always delight the spectators. Irish Champion, Stephen Moore in the new class 10 will face some stiff opposition from Semog dealer Ronan Mackle and Aaron Beattie in his Xtrem from Portadown with Seamus Donnelly and Sean Casey looking to continue their superb form in classes 9 and 11 respectively.
