Rasharkin United hit six in home win over Cookstown Olympic
WITH the improvement in the weather on Friday and Saturday past all games were played as planned across the four divisions including first round Irish Junior Cup games.

Clough hit top form in this game taking the lead after David Nicholl scored on the 5th minute. After this early goal it turned out to be a superb day for David Nicholl as he took his tally to four with goals scored on the 15th, 26th and 38th minute leaving Clough four clear at half-time. The second half saw Ballycastle make a fight of it and held Clough until Ricky Reid scored the final goal on the 82nd minute. Referee Mr Tony Young

Hide AdRasharkin completed the double over the Olympic with this win which began with them taking an early lead when Ryan Christie scored on the 3rd minute. Following this there was little to separate the teams in play until Jonny Nicholl scored on the 48th minute putting Rasharkin two goals clear. The next goal was the crucial one and it went to Rasharkin when Ryan Christie scored his second goal on the 72nd minute and two more quick goals scored by Andy Chestnutt and Jonny Nicholl on the 75th and 76th minutes. The Olympic who had chances to score themselves during the game missed another good chance before Karl Smith completed the scoring on the 83rd minute. Referee Mr Michael Henry
RACEVIEW 1 DUNLOY 4
This was a big win for Dunloy in what was a cracking game of football which saw plenty of goalmouth action. Dunloy took the lead after Kevin McAllister scored on the 10th minute and though both teams created chances it was the 40th minute before Jordan Lemon scored the second goal in the game when equalising for Raceview. The next goal was going to be crucial for both teams and this went to Dunloy when Benny McGarry scored on the 46th minute this being followed by a third goal scored by John John McFerran on the 64th minute. Shortly after this goal both teams had a player sent off then on the 68th minute Benny McGarry with his second goal in the game killed off any hope Raceview had of saving the game. GLEBE RANGERS RES 3 CARNINY AMATEURS 0
Glebe started off well and went on to take the lead after Neil McVicker scored on the 20th minute and at half-time still held the one goal advantage. Carniny tried hard to get back into the game but fell two goals behind when Neil McVicker converted a penalty for Glebe on the 65th minute. Time was then beginning to run out for Carniny when Neil McVicker completed his hat trick on the 76th minute kill off any revival from Carniny. Referee Mr Samuel Forsythe
MOYOLA PARK OLYMPIC 1 BALLYMONEY UNITED RES 4
Ballymoney with a number of experienced players within their ranks had the better of the attacking play at the start of the game and took the lead after scored on the 20th minute after Conor McKinley scored. Ballymoney then increased their lead through a penalty converted by Mark Gillen on the 26th minute and added a third when Conor McKinley scored his second goal before half-time. Moyola got back into the game on the 47th minute after David Anderson scored but a fourth goal scored by Gareth McLaughlin for Ballymoney by settled the result of the game. Referee Mr Bert Purdy

Hide AdFinvoy who are steadily getting a settled team in place took the lead after Gareth Hannah scored on the 10th minute but then saw Thomas Beattie hit home the equaliser for the Sky Blues on the 28th minute. As half-time was almost reached Finvoy took the lead for a second time when Andrew Magee scored on the 42nd minute. The Sky Blues got back on level terms again after Thomas Beattie scored his second goal in the game then with time running down Gareth Cairns scored the winner for Finvoy on the 81st minute.
