Rebecca Lennon in World Champs action
Ballyvally’s Rebecca Lennon begins her challenge in the knock-out stages of the World Archery Youth Championships today.
She is up against Great Britain team-mate Lucy Mason is her Compound Cadet match. Rebecca qualified in 20th position while her opponent Lucy finished slightly higher in 13th.
Her match begins at 5.15pm BST, 10.15am in local time in Yankton, America.
Aimee Convery, meanwhile, lost out to China’s Anqi Du in the Recurve Cadet class on Wednesday.
On Friday, the girls are both in team action in their respective classes.
