Rectory Lodge fishing success

BOTH lakes have fished well as the good weather has kept the fish high in the water and they have took well on all methods fished on a floater.

This week’s best catches were R Kelso 20, N Robinson 20, . Robinson 20, F Hutchinson 22, B McGoldrick 22, L Robinson 24, JC 36, B Hayes 45 and H Murphy 46.

£25 prize money went to both J McCrory and L Robinson, who both caught tag fish.

Big fish were caught this week by N Nevile 10.5lb and D McCrory 9lb.

A bring and buy sale was held and there were some good bargains on show.

The sale was a great success and there will be another one in the near future.

The Ian Cander Memorial Catch and Release Competition for the Heaviest Fish will be held on Easter Monday, April 9, 9am-3pm. All anglers are welcome.
