Referees wanted: Become the man or woman in the middle

Well if you have, now is the time to stop thinking and instead set your mind on making 2010 the year that you become the ‘man or the woman in the middle’.

The Irish FA has just announced details of up and coming beginners’ classes. The cost of the course is 50 which includes the referee registration fee for season 2010-2011, and a referee starter pack. Cost of the course for students in full-time education is 30.

Participants only need to register with the Referee Instructor on the first day of the course. On completion of the course candidates will be eligible to referee at youth and junior levels in local football.
