Registration night to be held

Juvenile registration and club membership will take place on Wednesday January 27 from 7.30pm and Sunday January 31 from 10-11am.

Club membership for 2010 can also be paid to club registrar, Roger Clarke or any committee member. Full family membership (two adults and two children) 50; single family membership (one adult and children) 40; adult membership 40; juvenile membership 20; OAP membership 10. All those who have paid before January 31 will qualify for the draw for All-Ireland tickets.

* A coaching meeting will be held this Thursday, January 27 at 7.30pm. The club urges as many people as possible to come along to the meeting.

* The club dinner dance will take place on Friday February 12 in the function room. A special presentation will be made to the senior hurling team who were winners of the Down Intermediate Championship. Tickets, costing 17 each, can be purchased from Dan Morgan.

* The committee and members extend sincere sympathy to Anne Cunningham (treasurer) and family on the death of her mother Margaret Blaney, and also to Anne Cunningham and family on the death of her sister Frances McGregor. May they rest in peace.

* Lotto numbers for Thursday January 21: 4, 6, 7, 14. There was no jackpot winner but there were seven match three winners: Thomas Fowler, Donna Owens, Tine Owens, Meg Burns, Jimmy Flynn, Fiona Kelly and Fr. B. Brown. The sellers prize went to Patrick McCartan.

Next week’s jackpot stands at 2,500 with the draw to be made in Turley’s Bar on Thursday January 28.
