Relegated pair return to the top

Hilden and Derriaghy were the teams relegated from Section A last season and both returned to the top this time.

Derriaghy won Section B with Hilden runners-up and both teams had something to spare over the other challengers. The big question is can they stay up?

SLOAN STREET: were well in the promotion race but faded over the closing games.

ST JOSEPH’S: where did they come from. Did the fear of relegation make them come alive?

BROOMHEDGE: at one stage they looked like promotion candidates, but then the rot set in.

POND PARK: around the bottom for some time before showing their true pedigree.

ROCK: down at the bottom for a long time, but surged back to finish clear of danger and they even reached the Rosebowl final.

SEYMOUR HILL: were going well before losing several players and they are back in Section C.

LAMBEG PARISH: never really clear of bottom places and finished badly to go down.
