Results from Brown Trout Golf Club

The competition at the weekend at Brown Trout Golf Club was for the Frazer Cup played in medal format.

Two players finished with the same net score of 65.After the tiebreak Aaron Mooney (7)with the best score of the day took the honours from Sam Reid (14). Aaron completed the front nine in level par before adding a two over 37 for gross 72 netted down to 65.

Highlight of his round was a birdie three at the third and 15 pars! Sam opened with a birdie at the first hole ending the first nine in 38 blows before taking 41 shots over the back nine for gross 79 also net 65.

Mark Dempsey (21) took the third prize on offer with a net 68. Ronnie Milliken (5) won the gross prize with a 79. The twos kitty was shared by Lester McCloy and Donal Mulholland.

A busy weekend lies ahead at the Club with the annual Charity competition organised by Causeway Support Group for Chest Heart and Stroke this coming Friday 3rd. August with the winner receiving the Christopher Daly Cup and Denis James hosting his Captain’s Day the next day on Saturday 4th. August.
