Rhodri gets it right on the night

Accomplished triathlete Rhodri Jones made no mistakes on Tuesday 9th April at Bann Wheelers CC first 10 mile time trial on the Curragh Road.

After last week’s mishap where Rhodri missed the turn this week saw Rhodri’s ‘sat nav’ in full working order as he stomped home in a time of 24.23 minutes. Dominic Drumm, Ballycastle CC, set a blistering time of 24.49 proving that he is like a fine wine and getting better with age. Bann Wheelers ever faithful Sharman Crawford came home third with another good time of 24.56.

First lady was Kay Hack, 28.13 with Jane Millar second in a time of 29.16 followed by third placed lady Gillian Armstrong 31.28 competing in her first ever time trial. Twenty-three Riders took part and many thanks go to Mary McKinney for timekeeping along with marshals, Davy Park and Nat Magee.
