Riada Rockets excel at UKCA championships
LOCAL athletes from Riada Rockets Cheerleading Squad have excelled yet again.
Following their success at the Northern Ireland UKCA Championships in February, the senior Squad lifted a trophy in the senior Elite stunt group category in the UK Elite Nationals on 16th March in Manchester.
The top teams from all over the UK gathered at the Manchester Velodrome to showcase their skills with the aim of being placed in UK top 3. Riada Rockets and coach Karen Graham were ecstatic to be placed third out of seven entries in the senior stunt group section in the UK.
The next project is to perform with the naval display team in Gibraltar 2014!
New members are most welcome to join the squad 6pm - 8pm every Monday April to mid June.
