Richard makes a splash at Gracehill
AN ode to Richard Bell who fell into the water at the sixth hole on Thursday.
There’s lots of water at Gracehill
If you fell in you would get a chill
At the 6th Richard Bell had a slip
And ended up taking a dip
The water came up to his chest
Now getting out was his quest
As his playing partners had a good laugh
Someone phoning for the RNLI life raft
But Richard managed to pull himself out
As the odd f-word was bandied about
His little ducking was not in vain
He found a ball or two for his pain
So remember at the edge of a lake
Special care you need to take
Or you’ll be going home with a story to tell
