Rockmount Ladies make a good start

Rockmount Ladies have made a good start in many of the inter club competitions.

The Junior Foursomes captained by Noleen Houston had a very exciting but nail-biting win on Sunday 23rd April against Tandragee with Rockmount eventually winning on holes.

The next round sees the ladies travelling to Buncrana Co. Donegal to play North West Golf Club.

The following week the Intermediate team also had to play Tandragee, although Rockmount were four matches up at home a very apprehensive but determined team travelled to Tandragee with Rockmount eventually being victorious.

The Challenge Cup team captained by Wendy MacLaughlin travelled to Newtownstewart to win their match and now meet either Greenisland or Co. Armagh Golf Club in the next round.

At home on Wednesday 20th April the Daisy Ferguson Qualifier was won by Jo Donaldson and Jan Lindsay who will represent Rockmount at Royal County Down on 8th August.
