Ronnie a winner at pairs event

EDENMORE vice-captain Ronnie Girvan, who has just taken up retirement, was a winner at the Erne Waterways Pairs Challenge.

He came away winning the trophy along with Rockmount member Michael Mahood from second placed pairing Edenmore players Gerry McClory and Paul Murray who were beaten on countback.

The defending champion Martin Brunty took fourth place. Each year a lot of Edenmore players take part in this excellent three day event. This year approaching 20 members from Edenmore participated.

The Ulster fourball team managed a 5/0 victory at home against North West with a 16 hole advantage. The team now travel to Donegal at the weekend for the return leg.
