Rory Leonard performs heroically at Rosses Point

RORY Leonard was Banbridge’s sole representative in the West of Ireland Amateur Golf Championship played over the Easter holiday period.

Rory won this championship in 2010 and he has always featured prominently in the event.

This year the weather was arctic and, over the exposed links of Rosses Point, there was no hiding place.
