Finals night will be held in Dromore Cathedral Hall this Friday, January 15 commencing with the junior singles semi-finals at 6.30pm sharp, followed by the National competitions at 7pm.

All players are to report to the zone convenor at 6.45pm. Greys and whites and proper bowling shoes are to be worn. Please come along and support your local bowlers.

West Down zone played off their Stonebridge National, ladies and junior championship sections over the last fortnight. The highest entry in 10 years resulted in some high quality games which saw the following qualify for finals night to be held in Dromore Cathedral Hall on Friday 15th January 2010.

West Down’s men have reached the semi-final of the Inter-zone competition with a five shot victory over Lisburn Zone.

Despite having five rinks up West Down had to sweat after the collapse of their sixth rink losing by 19 shots. This will set up a semi-final with the current holders Armagh on Saturday 23 January in Cathedral Hall Dromore at 2.00pm.
