Rovers progress in Junior Shield

GLENARM ROVERS progressed to round three of the Junior Shield after a superb win over Carniny Amateurs.

Rovers went 1-0 up through Morgan before the Ballymena side drew level in the second half with a fine strike, giving Montgomery no chance. The winner came from Lee Magill, whose shot flew into the top corner.

Carniny threw everything they had to try and get extra time, but the Glenarm defence held strong for the win.
