Rugby brothers make club history in Limerick win

THREE brothers claimed their own piece of club history in Ballymena Rugby Club’s weekend All-Ireland League win at Bruff.

Eighteen-year-old John Andrew joined his older brothers Joel and Ricky on the pitch after 60 minutes of Saturday’s 34-38 win in Limerick, meaning it was three brothers playing together for the first time in the All-ireland League era.

The three siblings also played their part off the pitch with their entertainment on the way home, with Joel and John on vocals and Ricky on guitar!
