Hedley hoping to see seniors get back on track after break

A blank date last weekend disrupted the Portadown momentum following improved form across the January fixture list.

Now Hedley is hoping to kick off the February schedule with continued positives - despite past history offering a word of warning.

“In the past we have often struggled to get back into the swing of it all when playing a match after a blank weekend,” said Hedley. “It is hard to pinpoint why this has been a problems but we certainly want to pick up the same tempo and commitment level against Omagh as on show before the break.

“We have been going well this year and need to continue to push forward over February.

“We had quite a few injury issues last weekend but will make the trip to Omagh in positive mood.”
