Rugby postponed

CITY of Derry have just had contact from David Boyd, Ulster Domestic Games Manager that all rugby in Ulster and Ireland has been cancelled this weekend.

The Met Office say this cold spell is to last until Monday, January 18.

The Ulster Branch or the IRFU will not make any decisions on rearranging postponed fixtures until after the current cold weather has abated.

City of Derry's next fixture is at home to Monivea in the AIB Junior Cup semi-final on Saturday, January 16, (KO 2.30pm).

No decision has been made on the club's fixture for Saturday, January 23 at Enniskillen in the Ulster Qualifying League.

If the AIB Junior Cup semi-final tie is not played on the 16th then it will be played on Saturday, January 23, at Judges Road.
