RUGBY UNION: Foyle College see of Antrim Grammar

The victory means David Barnett’s side have reached the third round for the first time in a number of years.

Foyle have home advantage over Dalriada in the last 16 of the prestigious cup competition.

Unfortunately North West neighbours Limavady Grammar were knocked out on Saturday morning, losing 36-13 to Bangor Grammar.

The Roesiders now entertain Omagh Academy in the Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Bowl quarter-final.

The draw was conducted by Richard Caldwell, representing Danske Bank and Booby Stewart, IRFU (Ulster Branch) President, during half time at the Ulster v Oyonnax Champions Cup game at Kingspan Stadium. First Minister, Arlene Foster, was also in attendance at the draw, which is as follows: Regent House v Sullivan Upper; Ballyclare HS v Bangor GS; Friends’ School v Campbell College; Down HS v BRA; Ballymena Academy v Wallace HS; Methodist College v Rainey Endowed and RBAI v Coleraine GS.

All ties are scheduled to be played on Saturday February 6th.
