Ballymoney ran out worthy winners 17-0 against Portadown with scores from Chris Watson and John Loughlin.

Hide AdThe second score by John Loughlin came after a strong line break by Neil Mullholland which he collected well with a hard and fast supporting line to finish under the posts.
“The away game at the beginning of the season had a score difference of almost over 30 points and this just shows the improvement in the Ballymoney side,” said captain Chris Beverland.
“The team have played Bangor, Instonians and Clogher Valley and given them all real scares in the past six weeks so this result has been coming.
“This builds on the win away to Donaghadee prior to Christmas and the bonus point defeat to Clogher in the dying two minutes.

“The guys have put in a tremendous amount of work, and head coach Jason Taggart has been putting through their their paces each week. We don’t take nights off. We keep working hard and it good to see progress as a direct result.
“We’re taking it one game at a time and our next one is s tough game away to Bangor on Saturday which the guys are looking forward to.”
