Larne book spot in Gordon West Cup final

Larne’s bid to reatin the Gordon West Cup remains right on track after they booked their spot in this year’s final with a 77-19 demolition of Letterkenny at the weekend.

The Glynn men, who are only one win away from promotion and boast the only 100 per cent record in Qualifying 3, delivered a barnstorming display in front of a big home crowd on Saturday.

The visitors were hit by a bombardment in the opening quarter and by half-time the game was all but over as a contest.

Ryan McAllister was to the fore scoring three tries from the back row. Scott Montgomery chipped in with a brace.

Jordan Burns, Garrett, Phil Andrews, Stevie McReynolds, Matt Agnew and the returning Craig Gibson all scored.

Larne will face Limavady at the Kingspan Stadium in the final.
