Runners grab a ‘pizza’ the action!

FIT N Running Ballymena took a break from their hectic training schedule to enjoy a well earned night out a Milanos pizza restaurant on Saturday evening.

With many of the club’s athletes preparing for the forthcoming spring marathons a relaxed evening and bit of additional carbohydrate loading proved to be very popular.

Meanwhile the clubs Monday night beginners and circuit training class continues to be a success with an attendance of 20 runners turning up each week for both sessions.

The beginners and all other sessions remain open for any new members who wish to enrol.

Fit N Running training times are as follows:

Monday 6.15pm - Beginners Run

Monday 7.15pm - Circuit Training

Tuesday 6.15pm - Interval Speed training

Saturday 9.15am - Steady pace run + gym session

Sunday 9.30am - Long run
