Rusty Seconds pay the price

TWO quick goals proved Coleraine Seconds' undoing against Northern Ireland Civil Service at Stormont last Saturday.

Playing only their second fixture since the Christmas break, Coleraine started the game slowly and paid the price by conceding two sloppy goals in the opening ten minutes.

That early setback saw Coleraine turn their game around and they fought back with good midfield and forward play, especially towards the end of the first half.

And Lisa Browne gave the visitors hope when she drove into the Civil Service circle to reverse stick the ball into the net.

After half time Civil Service came out the more determined of the two and they hit the Coleraine defence with constant attacks and remained on top til the final whistle.
