'Same again' says Wright

LISBURN Distillery boss Tommy Wright has called for his side to repeat their heroics at Mourneview Park last Saturday when they travel to the Showgrounds to face Ballymena tomorrow (Saturday).

The Whites' need just two points from three remaining matches to ensure they can't be caught by Institute, however, Wright is targeting all three points from the clash to guarantee Premiership status for Distillery.

Following last weekend's superb 3-1 win against Glenavon, the Whites lie five points clear of Institute, who will play Coleraine tonight (Friday), whilst Distillery have a game in hand over their rivals.

Wright said: "It was a great win against Glenavon, which we thoroughly deserved. It was probably the best football we have played since I arrived here, particularly in the first half, and we know it is entirely in our own hands. We know two points means Institute can't catch us and we want to get it done and dusted as soon as possible and hopefully get the win to guarantee survival."

Wright continued: "Institute have rearranged their game with Coleraine from Saturday to Friday so we could know on Friday whether we are safe or not. We will not be getting worried about it though, we know we need two points from three games, we know what we need to do and our target will remain the same whatever happens; our target is to win our last three games."

As well as looking to guarantee Premiership survival for the Whites', Wright is also eyeing leap-frogging those above his side in the table if they can keep their good run of form going.

He commented: "Depending on how results go, we could even catch Ballymena. We want to get as many points as possible; our main concern is getting over the line and securing Premiership status, but once that is done I don't want the players to take the foot of the gas, I want them to keep winning and see what happens."
