Sarsfields thank supporters

The players wanted to thank them for the great effort they had made in decorating the hall in the club colours for the team. Their great display contributed greatly to the positive pre-match atmosphere around the club.

Of course, many of those attending the senior citizens club have a very close affiliation with the Sarsfields Club. It has been the hub of their community for many years.

Many of the senior citizens have supported the football club and now their children and grandchildren are part of the club.

The gesture was greatly appreciated and no one is ever too young or too old to proudly hold a championship trophy for a photo opportunity.
