With a depleted side, Larne set up quite defensively to make sure that they did everything possible to avoid defeat.

The first half was a fairly uneventful affair with neither side creating any real chances.

The second session followed a similar pattern.

Recently-appointed captain Trish Neill had a couple of saves to make in the Larne goal but a solid back-line prevented any real goal threat from Omagh.

Larne held the ball well in midfield and worked well with the defence to preserve their first clean sheet of the season. The Omagh goalkeeper was untroubled and Larne left with the point they needed.

North Down took an early lead in the game but Larne hit back within five minutes, Carla Blair adding the finishing touch.

In what was an open first-half, both sides enjoyed equal possession but created few chances. However, shortly before the break, North Down managed to regain the lead.

Larne started the second half the brightest and drew level after Nicola Kempton scored her first and second goals of the season; both from short corners.

Having taken the lead for the first time in the game, Larne were disappointed to concede an equaliser midway through the second half. They dominated the remainder of the game, but, cruelly, it was North Down who took all three points with just one minute to go.
