Scott Cup won by Reid
BTHE Scott Cup played in Medal format was won by Sam Reid (18) who played consistently scoring nines of 42 and 41 blows for a gross 83 less his 18 handicap netted down to a winning five under 65.
Highlight of Sam’s round was a birdie at the 8th hole.
Two shots adrift in runner-up place Tommy McGowan (10) also scored well and with the help of birdies at the 1st and 17th holes had nines of 39 and 38 for 77 gross yielding a net 67.
Third prize went to the man in form Ronnie Engall (12) who recovered from a poor start after a seven at the 2nd. followed by a birdie at the 3rd. to complete the first nine in 42 before adding a 41 for gross 83 netted down to 71.
Club Captain Ronnie Milliken (7) won the gross prize with 79.
Jimmy Kelly scooped the twos kitty with a great hole-in-one at the difficult par three 11th hole, holing out with a five wood!
