Scott is the new All Ireland Champion

SCOTT Finlay from Stoneyford in Lisburn has just won the All Ireland Championship in the Mini Max Karting class.

The event took place recently in Galway and attracted drivers from all over Ireland. Racing took place over two days on Saturday and Sunday consisting of three heats and a final. Scott finished second in the first two heats and won the third heat. The final saw a very close race but Scott held his nerve and won comfortably.

This prestigious award now allows Scott to use the IRL plate on his kart showing he is the All Ireland Champion.
