Scott takes heart from Glebe players' efforts

GLEBE Rangers boss Gareth Scott is raring to go ahead of this Saturday's clash with Loughgall.

Scott was disappointed after his side's league game with Ballinamallard United fell victim to the inclement weather at the weekend.

But he has taken heart from the effort and commitment of his charges since he took the reins at the club a fortnight ago.

He is now eager for his players to demonstrate what they can do on the pitch after a somewhat disappointing season to date - starting with the trip to Loughall.

"I'm disappointed the match was off because the guys had been working so hard in training all week," he told Times Sport.

"The buzz around the place has been really, really good.

"I have been totally impressed by the dedication, endeavour and desire to turn things around.

"The level of commitment among the players is not in question we just have to get the results now.

"This week we face what I consider to be one of three massive challenges in this league.

"Loughgall away is an incredible test for this young team.

"It is a heck of a challenge but I'm starting to see the seeds of recovery on that side of things."

Glebe welcome William Wharry and Stuart Moore back to the fold for the trip to Loughgall.

Scott said influential forward Tommy Elder is also close to full fitness. The bus to the game leaves the Manor Hotel at 11am sharp.
