Coleraine started brightly with good passing between Emily Hutchinson, Sasha Richardson and Heather Rankin.

Joanne McGillan was unlucky not to score when her shot hit the post.  Banbridge began to get into the game and despite some good defensive play from Sophie Jinks, Abbie Wallace, Emma McCauley and Hannah Wilson, Banbridge took the lead from a well taken set piece.

Hannah McAdams worked well in midfield and had several piercing runs through the middle, and Erica Taylor continued to drive up the line.

Amy Rankin was forced to produce a string of saves before an unmarked Banbridge player made it 2-0.

Juliette Gaston and Roberta McInnes linked up well and Roberta crossed the ball into the circle where Juliette fired the ball home.

Ruth Adams and Samantha Marshall came on and also put pressure on the defence however Banbridge remained steadfast and the score remained 2-1
