Seconds cuise through
LURGAN Ladies Seconds eased in to the next round of the Irish Junior Cup after a superb performance.
The unbeaten girls saw off Belfast Harlequins 3-0 in the first round tie with Julie Morrow, Pippa Best and Katie Magowan scoring the goals. Lurgan face Randalstown in the next round. Coach Ivor Lennon described the performance as the best he has seen from a seconds side.
The Thirds also won 3-0, seeing off the challenge of Dromore Seconds. The Fourths recorded a 4-1 win over NICS Seconds in round two of the Junior Cup.
