Seconds earn draw in Ballymena

COLERAINE Seconds battled their way to a scoreless draw at Ballymena last Saturday.

The visitors started promisingly with Jenna McMaster and Claire Adams performing well.

The game was very even in the first half and goalkeeper Rebecca Crowe made an excellent diving save after Ballymena had exposed the Coleraine defence.

Emma McCauley, Amy Nutt, Emma Mcotter and Catherine Kemps dealt well with any Ballymena threat.

Coleraine imposed their dominance on the game but were unable to convert their numerous chances into goals.

Player of the match was awarded to Catherine Kemps, who had an extremely solid game in defence.
