Rory Leonard lost all four points against Jamie Fletcher (1). That was a shock for Banbridge and a boost for Warrenpoint.

Luke Woods (4) also lost. He was playing David Barron (1).

Jonathan Shannon (5) halved his game against Michael McCann (3).

At this stage, Warrenpoint had 9 points. They only needed one more.

Josh Crory, Rory McMullan and Callum Barnes were all ahead after 9 holes and looking good.

But it was all irrelevant because Scott Nelson lost his game against Shane McMahon and that was it was all over.

Team captain, Tom Mulholland, and his team were disappointed. They had high hopes but Warrenpoint dashed them.
